anotherangle lets you describe three objects and the three relationships between them, research each relationship for sources, and publish the result. These terms are the agreement between you and the operator named on the imprint page for using it. By creating an account or publishing, you accept them.

The service

You can build perspectives without an account. Publishing, editing what you have published, and commenting need a sign-in by email code. We may change or withdraw features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance or safety.

Your content and what it claims

A published perspective is a set of claims you have written about named people, companies, organisations, countries, parties, concepts or policies. You are responsible for those claims. When you publish, you confirm that:

• each relationship is something you honestly believe and can point to a basis for, not something invented to fit the shape;
• claims about a real person concern their public role — their work, office, business or public statements — and not their private life, health, family, home or other private matters;
• you do not publish information that identifies a private individual beyond what is already public, and you do not use the service to harass, threaten or defame anyone;
• you hold the rights to anything you add, including source notes and descriptions.

Comments follow the same rules. We may remove any content that we reasonably believe breaks these terms or the law, and we may close the account of anyone who does so repeatedly.

What an evidence status means

After you publish, we search the web for each relationship and attach the sources we find. Sourced means at least one cited source appears to support that exact claim. Insufficient evidence means we did not find one. Neither is a finding that the claim is true or false. The summaries next to sources are written by an AI model and are not quotations; open the source itself before relying on it. We do not verify, endorse or rate the truth of any perspective.

What we do with what you publish

Publishing makes the perspective public: anyone can read it at its address, it appears in Explore and in search, it may be indexed by search engines, and a preview image of the diagram is generated for links shared on social networks. You can edit or remove your own publication at any time; copies that others have already made or shared are outside our control. You keep the rights to your content and give us a licence to store, display, index and generate previews of it for as long as it is published.

Reporting, removal and appeal

Every perspective and comment has a Report link. Anyone can use it, with or without an account, and you may leave an email address if you want to hear the outcome. We review reports, remove content that breaks these terms or applicable law, and record a written reason for each removal. If your content is removed we email you that reason. If you think we got it wrong, reply to that email and we will look again.

Accounts

Your account is identified by your email address and carries one display name, which appears on everything you publish and every comment you make. Keep your email access secure; anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. You may delete your account by writing to the contact address; your publications and comments are deleted with it.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the content users publish, for the accuracy of sources or AI-written summaries, for interruptions, or for loss arising from your reliance on a perspective. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
